First time user
- Browse Axis bank net banking official site.
- Click on Login button.
- There are two types of customer options (Personal & Corporate) under the Internet Banking section. Select Personal.
- A login interface will appear like this.
- Click on First time user? Register.
The Registration will be completed in three steps. 1. Enter Account Details, 2. Enter Details, 3. Set password.
Step 1: Enter Account Details
- In the step, enter your customer ID. You can get your Customer ID in Passbook, and Checkbook.
- Enter your registered mobile and tap on Proceed.
Step 2: Enter Details
- This step requires your debit card credentials.
- Enter your Debit card no, ATM Pin no, and expiry date of your debit card.
- Tick on Term & Conditions to proceed further.
Step 3: Set Password
- Set your password in this step.
- Password should be combinations of numbers (0-9), letters (A-Z, a-z), and special characters (*, #, ^, _, $). You will not be able to use special characters ( ) [ ] , @ : ; \ “ in your Axis bank password. So avoid these special characters at the time of choosing a password.
- Enter the OTP (One Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number.
- Click on Submit.
- Now your are successfully registered. And a confirmation tab will appear like this.
- Go to login page.
Now registration procedure is over, and security questions will be reset afterhere. For resetting security questions in Axis bank, follow the following steps.
Resetting security question in AXIS bank
- For the security question setup, you have to log out and log in again.
- Log in using your customer ID, and password.
This auntentication page will appear.
There will be three security questions. You will be asked to set the answers for these security questions.
The security questions are like, “What’s your mother’s first name?”, “In which city was your first job?”. If you think the answers are easy to guess, you can change your questions.
Fill your answers carefully, and remember the exact answer respective to capital, small, or space.
Tick the term & condition box, and tap on confirm button for the next step.
- For authentication, one OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. This is NETSECURE code.
- Enter the NETSECURE code & click on confirm.
- Now your security questions have been reset successfully.
- The transaction limit only can be enhanced five days after resetting the security questions.
- Click OK.
Existing User
Existing user who wants to reset the security questions again, can do it through net banking and visiting ATM.
Through Netbanking
- Log in to your Axis bank internet banking.
- Go to my profile section.
- Click on “Reset security questions“.
- An OTP will be received in your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP.
- Reset your security questions and answers.
Visiting Axis bank ATM
- Visit Axis bank ATM. Insert your debit card.
- Select “Registration from the menu.
- Then select “Reset questions”.
- Enter your mobile number, and authenticate as the instruction appeared.
- After resetting your questions, a successful alert will appear.
You can do it by visiting nearest Axis bank Branch. Give an application for reset of security questions. The bank executive will process it further.
